The Indiana Dunes Indigenous Cultural Trail collaboration between Indiana Dunes Tourism, the Indiana Dunes National Park, the Indiana Dunes State Park and members of the Indigenous community members representing the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma.
The STARTlab team is documenting the development of this important Indigenous tourism initiative. The project illustrates not only the value of highlighting Indigenous knowledge and culture but also the importance of mutual respect, trust, and collaboration in developing projects like the Indiana Dunes Indigenous Cultural Trail.
