Sustainable Tourism and Responsible Travel (ST&RT) Lab

The Sustainable Tourism and Responsible Travel (ST&RT) Lab is committed to ensuring that tourism contributes positively to society and individual well-being. Our research explores ways destinations, businesses, and travelers can support sustainable development through tourism. Our engagement activities empower the effective implementation of activities to support sustainable activities in the tourism system. The ST&RTlab is a unit of the White Lodging – J.W. Marriott Jr School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University. Dr. Jonathon Day leads the initiative.
