Destination Branding and Sustainability

Destination brands are key assets for destination communities and important tools in destination marketing and governance. This research examines the value created by destination branding that focusses on the destination’s portfolio of sustainability-related capitals – environmental, cultural, human capacities, and economic – and how it can be used to support destination stewardship and sustainable development.
