As we race forward it is important to remember the work that has already been done so we avoid “reinventing the wheel”.
For instance, did you know there is a Code of Ethics for Tourism? The Code of Ethics has 10 “articles” and outlines the ethical ways that tourism stakeholders should behave to achieve the best possible outcomes for society. The Articles include:

Tourism as a vehicle for individual and collective fulfillment
Tourism, a factor of sustainable development

Obligations of stakeholders in tourism development
Right to tourism
Liberty of tourism movements
Rights of the workers and entrepreneurs in the tourism industry
Implementation of the principles of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism.
