18 May Unpacking – Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Tourism and Hospitality
There is always a thrill when you open the box from the publisher and your new book is revealed. I am delighted to share that my latest book – Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Tourism and Hospitality: Global Post Covid-19 Recovery Strategies – is now in the world.
Watching this book grow and take shape has been a fascinating journey of discovery. While the pandemic is fast fading in our memories, this book documents many of the extraordinary—and innovative—entrepreneurial responses many companies made during those challenging years. Eye-opening for me was that many of our examples come from the Spanish-speaking world and share the experience of companies that weren’t on my radar until now.
A quick “by the numbers” on this book: It covers:
- 25 cases
- 67 authors
- 24 Universities
- 6 continents
This book is the brainchild of Teresa Aguiar-Quintana, who recognized the great need to capture and share these experiences. Her leadership and hard work in getting this book produced were truly inspiring. I am also grateful to Francisca Rosa Alamo Vera, who worked tirelessly with Teresa on the project.
